A1 Team Indonesia is receiving solid support from the members of Ferrari Club in Indonesia. Last weekend the team were invited to a breakfast gathering event at Kemang Village where they were each updated on the progress of the Lippo Village Circuit. No less than 25 Ferrari cars in a variety of models were there with more than 30 Ferrari Club Indonesia members.

All of the 25 Ferrari cars participated in a convoy where they drove 30 kilometres around the Jakarta Outer Ring Toll Road before they arrived at Kemang Village. The event started at 8:00 am, where the cars departed from the Automall Sudirman Central Business District, before they arrived at Kemang Village at 9:15 am. Upon arrival they were then greeted by A1 Team Indonesia and representatives from the Lippo Group.

After breakfast Mr. Gordon G. Benton, OBE RIBA, one of the Senior Executives, the Architect, and the Urban Planner of Lippo Group each gave a brief presentation about the progress of the Lippo Village circuit. The building of the Circuit is making steady progress and is already 80% from completion.

Mr. Bagoes Hermanto, A1 Team Indonesia Seat Holder also gave a very warm welcoming speech, and shared with the guests the the A1 Team Indonesia vision, which is to build on the strong foundations of the team and the Indonesian motorsport industry.

The event continued with a Q&A session where Mr. Soetikno Soedarjo as the representative from Ferrari Indonesia expressed his solid support for the upcoming A1GP event at Lippo Village and their backing to A1 Team Indonesia.

Bagoes Hermanto says, “It’s an honour for us in A1 Team Indonesia to receive such support from the Ferrari Club in Indonesia. The relationship between A1 Team Indonesia and the Ferrari Club Indonesia has always been strong in the past and I hope it will be stronger in the future. I hope with the new Ferrari powered A1GP car we can achieve the maximum result and we are be able to give back their support with championship points, especially during our very first outing in the street circuit of Lippo Village.”

The event closed with a photograph session where the A1 Team Indonesia, Ferrari Club Indonesia members, and the Lippo Group representatives posed in the front of Kemang Village Marketing Gallery.
