A report on motorsport-total.com is throwing doubt on the Taupo, NZL, round in 8 days time.
They comment on the fact that the A1GP cars are presently sitting in Malaysia and not on their way to Taupo and, according to their sources, can’t be picked up!
According to them it is being suggested that there is a dispute over ‘payment’ with the carriers.
We assume, if this is true, there is still time to solve this dispute and get to Taupo in time but it would require some quick work!
We are attempting to find out more.

[Update]
We are hearing a rumour that suggests this is not to do with a payment problem to the carriers but an injunction to stop the transportation of the cars.
We will continue monitoring this.
