Without any delay from the earlier Rookie session the teams were straight into the Free Practice session.
As with the Rookie session there was a lack of action from certain teams.
From the 20 teams entered A1Teams BRA, CHN, GBR, MEX and USA never took to the track at all.
Although it was their first time on track with the new A1GP ‘powered by Ferrari’ car A1Team.GER were straight on the leading pace finishing Friday practice with a time of 1:31.312 secs for 2nd position. Fastest today was A1Team.LEB with 1:30.816.
