The delayed single A1GP Rookie session at Kyalami, South Africa, got under way late.

The session started on time but it was a full 19 minutes before A1Team.FRA took to the track, Nicolas Prost making history, then other teams dribbled out until we had 7 teams on track after 40 mins.

At the end of the delayed session, A1Team.SUI caused a red flag to be shown, only 10 of the 16 teams had got onto the track with A1Team.FRA posting the fastest time of 1:33.149 secs.

A1Team.IND managed to put in an installation lap just as the session was ending.
