The A1GP Team Switzerland has succeeded in finalising another partnership deal. The Kalchbühl-Garage AG in Zürich is providing the team with FIAT Bravo Sport passenger cars, in co-operation with the Swiss importer.
Team principal Max Welti acknowledges the significance of the agreement that will initially run until the end of the upcoming fifth A1GP World Cup season. “I am really grateful to Fritz Bosshard of the Kalchbühl-Garage AG for his personal commitment. As the Swiss national racing team in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport powered by Ferrari, we are happy to be able to represent Ferrari’s parent company FIAT on the roads of Europe. The fact that we have succeeded in getting the fourth partner on board within a few weeks is by no means evident in difficult times like these. We are also considering these agreements as an acknowledgement for our achievements in the World Cup of Motorsport.”
This weekend, the 2008/2009 season will come to an end at Brands Hatch (UK). Chances for the Swiss team to defend the title it won last year, are well alive.

Das Schweizer A1GP-Team hat eine weitere Partnerschaft eingehen können. Die Kalchbühl-Garage AG in Zürich stellt ihm (in Kooperation mit dem Schweizer Importeur) FIAT-Autos vom Typ “Bravo Sport” zur Verfügung.

Am Wochenende wird die Saison 2008/09 in Brands Hatch (Eng) abgeschlossen. Die Chancen des Schweizer Teams, den im vergangenen Jahr gewonnen Titel erfolgreich zu verteidigen, sind intakt.

L’équipe suisse A1GP a pu conclure un partenariat supplémentaire. Kalchbühl-Garage AG à Zurich lui met à disposition (en coopération avec l’importateur suisse) des voitures FIAT du type “Bravo Sport”.
Le chef d’équipe, Max Welti, sait apprécier à sa juste valeur cet accord pour le moment valable jusqu’à la fin de la cinquième saison de la coupe du monde A1GP: “Je suis particulièrement reconnaissant à Fritz Bosshard de Kalchbühl-Garage AG pour ses efforts personnels. D’avoir réussi à hisser à bord un quatrième partenaire en quelques semaines n’est pas une évidence dans ces temps économiquement difficiles. Nos succès dans la coupe du monde des nations du sport motorisé ne sont sans doute pas étrangers à la conclusion de ces accords.”
Le weekend prochain, la saison 2008/09 trouvera son épilogue à Brands Hatch en Angleterre. Les chances du team suisse de défendre avec succès le titre remporté l’année passée sont intactes.
