Not a sell out crowd but certainly a large one.

Following a fire in the car during the Sprint race, when an electrical component in the wiring loom burnt out, A1Team Monaco has taken their front row slot for the Feature race.

Will this be a cool race for A1Team Ireland for the Championship — 5th or better will do it.

Still the problems dog A1GP this season as the Live Timing system is not available for the fans.

On their out lap to the grid A1Team Malaysia ended up in the gravel and the car requires some repairs — they will have to start from the pit lane.

There may be a penalty for A1Team Germany whose mechanics were late leaving the grid when the car wouldn’t fire up properly.

All cars, apart from Malaysia in the pit lane, complete the warm-up lap.

Delayed start as A1Team South Africa has problem on the start grid — cars go round for another warm-up lap — RSA gets going and will start from the back.

Malaysia now has problems with the delayed start and goes back to their pit garage.

Oh dear — China, India and USA go off at Paddock Hill Bend at start with Safety Car immediately called.

Ireland got a good start and led into Druids.

The order behind Safety Car is IRL, MON, NED, SUI, POR, NZL, AUS, FRA, GBR and ITA.

Live Timing is back but from different web address.

Safety Car in on Lap 5

A1Team USA comes in for new nose but at least they are still in the race.

Mexico overtake Italy for 10th place.

Lap 6 and France make a mistake and drops down to 16th.

Lap 7 and New Zealand go off into the gravel — buried!

First pit window is Lap 8/16

Ireland pit on lap 8 from the lead with Portugal.

Netherlands and Switzerland come in next lap.

Monaco and Great Britain in the next lap round.

After first pit stops the order is IRL, NED, SUI, POR, MON, MEX, AUS, GBR, ITA, LEB.

Great move by GBR on AUS at Paddock for 7th after he posts fastest lap.

Leaders gaps are 7.5, 3.7, 0.7 seconds.

Some very close racing in the middle of pack.

Second pit stop window laps 28/36.

Germany hits problems from brocken exhaust and pulls off the track on lap 27.

Malaysia spins off into gravel at Druids on lap 28.

IRL, SUI, MON, MEX pit ahead of possible Safety Car.

Slow stop for Ireland 12 secs. But no problems they still lead.

Positions after second pit stops is IRL, NED, SUI, MON, POR, MEX, GBR, AUS, ITA, FRA.

Lap 35 and Australia record fastest lap 1:12.754.

Lap 36 and Australia lower time to 1:12.698.

Switzerland and Monaco and Portugal and Mexico and Great Britain are all racing for 3rd place.

With 8 laps to go it is Irelands race to lose as they are 5.6 secs ahead.

Great Britain have a broken exhaust and Australia is closing them down for 7th.

Congratulations to A1Team Ireland who win the Feature Race and become the Fourth A1GP World Champions!

Finishing order is IRL, NED, SUI, MON, POR, MEX, GBR, AUS, ITA, FRA.

Season 4 Championship Podium is Ireland, Switzerland, Portugal.
