Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan has signed with Team Kolles to drive in the European Le Mans Series (LMS) for the rest of the season.

His drive for A1Team.India saw them finish 12th in the A1GP Season 4 World Cup of Motorsport powered by Ferrari Championship.

Karthikeyan, who became India’s first Formula One driver when he raced for the Jordan team in 2005, will also be competing in the popular Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race in June, but his first LMS outing will be in Belgium at the weekend.

“I am happy to have Narain on board and looking forward to this weekend at Spa,” team head Colin Kolles said in a statement released by Karthikeyan’s management.
